A visit from Michigan!

Our wonderful friends and formal next door neighbors, The Pellows, came down to spend the week with us last week. We had so much fun visiting with them and having the kids together! We miss having you here in NC!!

Birthdays Galore!!

We've had a busy schedule of fun birthday parties in the last week! Madison's playgroup buddy, Lila had her first birthday party and all the girls were in attendance! Then for Nathan's early birthday celebration we had a group birthday bash at Spacekidets, a local bounce house. And to finish off the weekend, we celebrated Ella Grace's birthday, another one of Madison's girlfriends, who is also our Goddaughter! What a fun week!!!

Spring Fever!

It was a beautiful day here in the Queen City, and what a way to start Nathan's first intro to organized sports - Soccer! We had our first day of Soccer Clinic at the local Y in our neighborhood. He is one of at least 15 kids running around learning how to move a soccer ball around. The coaches are two guys - one is Coach Rich who from the second he opened his mouth, we knew he was New York - reminded us a lot of our cousin Greg. He was great with Nathan and all the kids. So this was an honorable mention for all our family up north!

With it being a beautiful day, we did make it a family outing so Madison got to enjoy the taste of Spring weather as well! She loved it!

Madison has some special girlfriends that she loves to play with, Miss Ella Grace, who is also our Goddaughter, and Miss Caroline. They always seem to have a good time together and we love being with them! Madison hosted a little playdate this past week and had a blast!
