Pumpkins Pumpkins Everywhere!

This weekend we finally got to head out to the pumpkin patches. Nathan and Madison enjoyed running around the fields and Madison loved picking up all the little pumpkins! Unfortunately the best pumpkin was not at the farm. We didn't find our perfect one until we went to the road side pumpkin patch by our house!

New York...New York!!!

A few weeks ago, we headed to New York for a family wedding as well as spend time in the city with the kids. It was Madison's first time on a plane and Nathan's first time understanding where he was going! Thanks to JetBlue's backseat tvs, it was an easy flight! We were in beautiful Garden City, NY for the first part of the trip for our cousin, Greg and Amanda's wedding. The kids got to enjoy visiting with family and having a ball on the dance floor. We also got to go visit Nana's family on Long Island. We then went into the City and enjoyed seeing all the lights and hustle and bustle. While the girls went shopping, Mike, Uncle Darrell, PopPop and kids went to the Museum of Natural History. That night, we went to a Yankees game!! Before we left, we got to visit the Toys R Us in Time Square. It was a whirlwind trip but great memories were made!

Welcome to the world of Little League Soccer!

Nathan started playing on a Soccer team at the local Y this year and we had our first game today! It was a overwhelming experience for us parents as there are hundreds of kids and parents cheering on their kids on every field. Nathan did a great job in his first game. He played goalie and was able to make 4 out of 5 saves. He also got to play in the field and was a great sport! He hasn't picked up the competitive instinct yet, but we are sure it will come soon!

Of course, Madison had to be part of the fun too!

First Days of School

Nathan and Madison started at Sardis Presbyterian Weekday School this Fall. Nathan is in the 5 Day program with many of his buddies from last year and Madison is in the toddler program 2 Days a week. It was definitely an adjustment for little Madison but big brother Nathan went right in without worry!

Trip to Sunset Beach

We had a wonderful trip to the beach with our good friends, The Driscolls as our last summer hurrah. We had some rain for the first 24 hours there, but it cleared up to be a beautiful weekend! We spent lots of time relaxing on the beach, taking naps and getting take out with the kids! Can't wait to do it again next year!
